I got this message when I went to play a DVD on my PC now.
Wonderful.
I just opened it in VLC instead.
And this will be different how…
It appears something has gone wrong with the update. Fucking huzzah.
I’m back from wee bonnie Scotland (Well I came back Monday, i’ve been lazy since)
Some of the highlights have been:
Cute girl on plane who I was talking to
….Then she told me I sound like I have some time managment issues.
Meeting Nick and Kirsty (My partner in business/crime (delete as necessary))
Spending the majority of time watching movies/playing games
Spending the night before I go home actually talking about the business and doing necessary paperwork. And all about Project Pontouf at some ungodly hour in the morning.
Going to bed when the sun was rising
Eating breakfast at 5pm
A photo diary:
Shame about my finger cutting off the last bit of that photo.
I love it.
It is nice to know even giant companies like Google do on occasion make mistakes.
Today I learnt some interesting facts.
Like I own domains like:
conorpower.name
networkinggeek.com
flying-fortress.net
And as far as I can see, they are used for pretty much nothing. So my loyal readers what do you think I should do with them?
On the off chance that anyone in a tech company reads this blog, would they be interested in hiring me? My previous employer I never heard back from and I just got an email this morning back from Microsoft saying they’ll only do one year internships for college students (or that they’ll admit, i’m sure if you knew someone they could sort you out)
Some caveat’s though (not that I want to sound ungrateful or anything)
1) I’ve already done the whole summer doing tech support thing. I’d like to get experience in other things too
2) Since I’m reliant on public transport I’m not as mobile as I’d like. I know for a fact I can get to either to the City Center or Citywest with ease.
Edit:
3) Forgot the most important one, it would be a fairly short term since I (depending on grades of course :P) hopefully would have college starting in September
