Monthly Archive for November, 2007

So… whats new?

On the 2nd of December I will be in Dublin Airport with the rest of the PaddyValley folk waiting for our flights. In a typical move from me, I have put off ordering business cards until and now I’m hoping VistaPrint will have them here in time.

I’ve been doing interviews with a large multinational company who do search and advertising mainly, I did an on-site interview last week and I was told it was normally a week when they get back to you, so I’m a little bit apprehensive every time I check my email or my phone rings.

On Monday, I go off and do my weeks e-learning for my CCNA course. Hello to anyone who might be doing the same.

Although this bash quote has been pointed to me:

<spazdor> how do you get a Cisco Certified Network Administrator off your porch?
<cnug> …?
<spazdor> pay for your pizza

When I’ll update this next…? Who knows.

ComReg still have no cajones

I’ve just read this on Pat’s blog:

In a shocking typical move from ComReg they have bent over to the will of Vodafone and allowed them a 400% increase in the cost of dialing 1850 numbers. I don’t know but it looks like they are trying to completely fuck telecoms in Ireland up. As if they hadn’t done enough damage regarding broadband.

If anyone from ComReg is reading this, I’m currently in need of a job so if a commissioner spot opens up call me, I know allowing a telco to hike up costs 400% is a bad thing so it seems I’m more qualified then the current morons you have running the place.

Also, I had hoped when the Greens got control of Comms in government that things would change for the better but it appears they are just as spineless and pathetic as ComReg. But thats for another post.
