So I’ve gone and done it, I’ve blown the last of my bank account balance on a new pc. Why? Because I figure there are some seriously good games coming out this year and its time to get back with things. Last time I did anything major with my pc was over 3 years ago. So I think I’ll hop onto the DirectX10 and Vista bandwagon now.

Decent rig, although you could have gotten the Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 for much the same price I think. A LOT of Intel’s parts have had significant price drops, this new quad core processor was one of the biggest. You can now get a quad-core CPU running at 2.4 GHz for about the same price as you could get the dual-core processor at 2.67 GHz. And thse processors all over-clock extremely well seen as they are all limited to certain speads (their multipliers) in the first place. Oh well, I guess dual-core will habe to do, although the power hungry monster that is Windows Vista might disagree…
I was considering it but I got the mobo/cpu/ram as a bundle and the Quad core bundle was an extra 200 euro.
Rightio, where did you get that bundle?
